About Ballet Wyoming

Wyoming's Premier Ballet Company

Ballet Wyoming is the first ballet company to reside in the State of Wyoming. The company was founded in 2007 as Ballet 7220. The company is a fresh and innovative professional ensemble focused on featuring local dancers.  Ballet Wyoming is a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 company.

Mission

Ballet Wyoming’s goal is to present a wide range of dance styles and to entertain and educate audiences through their performances and outreach throughout the region.

Barbara Sandick, Executive Director

Barbara Sandick has been the creative mastermind behind BW's first class promotional materials, including photography and videos. Her passion is visual communication, documentary filmmaking, arts, and cultural studies. She currently is teaching classes in Department of Communication and Journalism the University of Wyoming and is a filmmaker, working on several projects. She has a Master of Arts from the Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of Wyoming.

Tiffany Erickson, Artistic Consultant

Tiffany Erickson has an extensive background in performance, working professionally in Denver with the Hannah Kahn Dance Company, Ballet Ariel, and Front Row Media Group. Her performance experience also includes works by Robert Sher-Machherndl, Davis Contemporary Dance Company, Colorado Ballet and Ballet Wyoming. Tiffany has been a significant contributor to the arts in Wyoming, enriching the cultural heritage of her home state, and she looks forward to contributing to the creative direction of Ballet Wyoming. 

Board of Directors

Ballet Wyoming has hired Barbara Sandick as Executive Director and to handle marketing. Tiffany Erickson has joined the Ballet Wyoming board to help with creative direction.

 

The Board of Directors also includes Stephanie Meisner-Maggard, Janie Wilcox, Katy Rinne, RJ Glanz, Darci Gross, Barbara Sandick, Tiffany Erickson, Melissa Salvato and Karmen Rossi.
